What is TryggEst ?
Moss municipality is a TryggEst municipality. This means that the municipality is involved in an intermunicipal collaboration with Våler and Råde. An interdisciplinary team has been established to help prevent, detect and deal with violence and abuse against adults who are little or no longer able to protect themselves. People who may be particularly vulnerable to violence and abuse may be people with cognitive impairment, physical and mental disabilities, substance abuse problems, old age or illness.

The Moss region TryggEst The team works according to a model that is anchored in the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs. The work in the Mosse region has been politically approved and anchored in the local action plan against violence in close relationships.

If you are a victim of violence, a relative or a service provider, you can report your concerns to TryggEst team. You can either call or fill out and submit the concern report form. TryggEst The team assesses the concern, provides advice and guidance to employees and residents, and suggests any measures.
